This Sunday, Hyde Park Art Center opens the group exhibition No Place Like Home, curated by Dawoud Bey and featuring photographs by Lisa Lindvay, Jon Lowenstein, Jason Reblando, Jessica Rodrigue, David Schalliol and Leilani Wertens.

The exhibition addresses the modern mainstream notion of "home", in particular the complexities of creating a sense of home that is primarily defined by security, safety and stability. The artists in this show examine the myriad of forces influencing that stability, such as race, class, socioeconomic factors, and political agendas.
